The Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Youth Federation of India strongly protest in the widespread attack on DYFI leaders and activists by TMC goons in West Bengal. In a latest incident Com. Sayandeep Mitra President of West Bengal state unit of DYFI was brutally attacked. He was seriously injured and hospitalised with multiple wounds.

The Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Youth Federation of India strongly opposes the all-round hike in rail fares announced by the railway minister.

In a rare decision taken ahead of the Budget, Railway minister DV Sadananda Gowda, yesterday announced an across-the-board hike in fares of all classes from June 25, the first such increase in a decade. The fare has gone up by 14.2 percent for passengers and 6.5 percentages for the freight.

DYFI President, MB Rajesh, who reached there on hearing the news of the lathi charge also attacked by the police. Many students including girls were brutally lathicharged. Earlier in the day he had addressed a protest march of North East sudents in Jantarmantar.

The Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Youth Federation of India condole the death of Delhi gang rape victim. The 23 year old girl had been fighting for her life for the last 12 days despite serious injuries. The heinous crime that took place in a moving bus in the national capital on the night of 16th December, shocked the nation, and the people throughout the country, especially students and the youth come out in thousands in almost daily demonstrations, demanding effective measures by the central and state governments to curtail the increasing crimes against women.

RSS goons kills DYFI activist in Kasaragode

Today RSS goons killed a DYFI activist in Kumbala, a village in Kasargode today. Murali, a resident of Shantipallam in Kumbala was stabbed to death on 4.45 P.M. today near Apsara Mill area near Sithamgoli.
