His family members’ has gone on record that one of the doctors confirmed that the medical equipment fitted on him should not have been used for more than 40 minutes, but it was used on him for 12 hours. This cruelty was done on him by RML hospital doctors on instruction from PMO. It is shocking to learn that this inhuman act was due to the reluctance of the government to postpone the budget session since it was Vasant Panchami Day and is considered as a good day to start things.
Traditionally, parliament adjourns for a day after the death of a sitting member. But in this case the democratic tradition was not followed. The parliamentary ethics was violated. Apart from this the PMO and Government tried to suppress the news of his death even from his family. DYFI strongly condemns this inhuman act and demands a detailed investigation into the matter.
