The CEC of DYFI calls upon all its units to organize fund collection on 13th and 14th of December across the country to help flood victims of Tamil Nadu

The Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Youth Federation of India expresses its deep sorrow in the death of hundreds of people in the heavy rain and flood affected areas of Tamil Nadu. Thousands who are displaced are lost their home, clothes, and all other earnings and are not in access to food.

Centre and State Governments should take effective steps to alleviate the sufferings of the flood hit people. The flood relief activities should be intensified without delay.

The relief provided by the Government to the rain hit people is meager when compared to the huge loss suffered. CEC of DYFI appeals to the Centre to allocate sufficient funds to the state.

The CEC of DYFI calls upon all its units to organize fund collection on 13th and 14th of December across the country to help flood victims. The CEC appeals all to come forward in full support to the flood hit people and help them in every possible way.

DYFI Kerala State Committee has given a cheque of Rupees Ten Lakhs to All India President M B Rajesh as Chennai Relief Fund during the concluding programme of Secular March at Ernakulam on 5th December. Our activists under the leadership of M B Rajesh collected around 2 lakh rupees in 15-20 minutes from the concluding venue of Secular March.
